I have had my 8200 for a couple of years and I love it. the wide neck allows for larger quilts and I don't think I would need the start knot and cut features but I can't go back now. solid stable machine. I user it to free motion quilt and get a bit crazy at times, using different stitches. highly recommend a Janome for any level.

I don’t even know where to begin about all the things I love about this sewing machine. I’ve owned my 8200 for a couple of years now and I’m still learning how to better use this machine. I’ve used it for general sewing, quilting, foundation paper piecing and more! HIGHLY recommend!
