Wow. I wanted a lightweight machine but didn't like the offerings of the two brands I usually sew on. This machine was suggested and I am shocked at the great feed, ease of use and being a small machine with a great big machine feel. Very happy so far.

I'm very happy with this machine. I'm an intermediate quilter, so I've had some experience with other machines and was looking to upgrade but not ready to spend thousands of dollars. So far, everything has worked easily and this is simple to use. The feet are easy to change out and the package I purchased came will all the quilting feet I needed. The open quilting toe works great as well. I'd definitely recommend this.

This a super sewing machine. I use it primarily for quilting class, so it is well travelled. It has been champion sewing through layers of fabric, batting and backing without faltering. It has been great fun learning to use rulers to quilt on the 4120 QDC. This trusty machine has not failed me when I attempt to free motion quilting. Some day I may move up to a bigger Janome, but for now, I'm not willing to give my 4120.

I’ve had this machine for 5 years & love everything about it. This is my main machine - I seldom use my Elna. It’s a great travel machine too. I’ve never had an issue with this machine & recommend it to all.

This is my second Janome, my first stays in Florida. I’ve been quilting for nearly 40 years, but this new machine is allowing me to learn and do many things that my 2160 can’t do. It’s lightweight, so I can bring it to retreats easily. Truthfully, I haven’t found anything that this machine wouldn’t let me do.

Sewing is fast becoming my first love, but don't tell my husband. After all, it was his Christmas gift to me last year. While, I have not sewn any clothes for myself. I am a knitter and now with my Janome 4120QDC, I have made the perfect knitting bag, pouch and tote. I am so pleased and happy. I do Love it!

This is a really nice machine. It has most of the same features as my 6600P and uses the same feet. It is lightweight so I can take it on retreats easily. I love it!

I traded in my Gem Platinum for the 4120 and am glad I did. It has more features and is perfect for class work or if I want to sew in the kitchen. It's so lightweight I can use it anywhere and just leave my big machine in the sewing room. It's a smooth sewer!

My husband got my machine for r me for Christmas. It has been a joy to use. Quilting is a breeze and making things for grand kids is great fun. It is easy to use and does everything I want. Couldn't be happier.

After I started quilting and increased my knowledge, I wanted a better machine. However, I did not want to put out loads of money. I was able to get a demo machine at a great price, and I love my 4120QDC! It does everything I need including free motion quilting. It's lightweight and easy to take with me when I travel. I would definitely recommend this machine!

I love this machine. Light enough for me to carry but a very strong machine. It has done everything I have asked it to do. There is only one thing I would have different, and that would be a *skip* stitch between words. Other than that, I`m thrilled with the 4120QDC.

I replaced my Gem with a 4120QDC and absolutely love it! I use this machine for classes, retreats, and when sewing at home outside of my sewing room. My 7700 sits solitare but machine is light enough to take anyway but does practically everything my big machine can do. Most of the feet interchange, has a pretty visual appearance and nice sewing hum. I could not be happy with it!

I've had this machine over two years, and it the very best machine I've ever owned. I sew lots of craft items, including Super Hero Dolls, and applique all the time. My favorite features are the automatic needle threader, and the scissors cutter. Love, love, love this machine.

I find it was easier to manipulate the machine for applique using my old portable Viking, and also using my 1930's vintage Singer. Also my old treadle Singer can sew through more layers without messing up the beginning stitches.
