The AcuFeed Flex Layered Fabric Feeding System is the best on the market. AcuFeed Flex perfectly guides your fabric from the top and bottom. Perfect for quilts, plaids, and any sewing requiring precise control.
When using lightweight fabrics or piecing quilts, a straight stitch needle plate makes all of the difference. Simply push the lever to release the plate and snap a new one in place with no screws or tools necessary.
Only Janome machines have this super stable feeding system that moves your fabric in perfect synchronization with the needle bobbin. A seven-piece feed dog works with a flat feed mechanism, which keeps the feed dogs parallel to the needle plate whether sewing forwards or backwards.
With 8.25" x 13" of spacious bed space with 4.7" of vertical clearance (thats 27% more space to the right of the needle and 36% more vertical clearance than other machines) you'll have plenty of roll up room for quilts.
