DC1050 Excellent machine to take to quilting classes and retreats

I am very happy with this lightweight machine to take with me to classes and retreats, the purpose for which I bought it. My machine which stays safely at home is also relatively new: a Memory Craft 6500P which will nicely handle machine quilting, through multiple layers of fabric and batting. On a slightly thinner "quilt sandwich," the DC 1050 also will do machine quilting nicely.
