Continental M7 Professional

I have had this machine for one month and enjoyed every minute of using it. I haven't had a machine this sophisticated to compare it with. My old machine was a Bernina that I bought 20 years ago. The things I love about this machine are the following: The threader The Bobbin winder The Screen with all the instructions and settings in a very visible place The thread cutter feature The thread locking feature The many accessories that are included The fact that it tells me when I am about to run out of my bobbin thread. The fact that I can keep my project in place while I refill my bobbin The fact that it tells me when anything is awry I have not found any negative things to say about this machine. I feel blessed to be able to own it and use it!

Makes my Husqvarna topaz 50 look like a toy. This machine is awesome. Great features, fantastic visibility and sews beautifully. I am thrilled with this machine! Easy learning curve. Bravo Janome!

I am loving this machine. Have been a lifetime sewer and just started quilting and have done 1 queen and 2 king size quilts in less than 3 months while working fulltime. Easy to understand and work with. As I quilt, I can't wait for the next one...

This is a great machine. Many stitches and for heavy projects the dual feet and AcuFeed flex foot makes sewing though many layers a breeze. Highly recommend this machine

Having been a long time Janome user with my 9450 and 15000, I had very high expectations for the Continental M7. And because I loved using my other Janome machines so much, I honestly didn't expect to be so completely and thoroughly impressed with the M7. Oh boy....was I pleasantly surprised! I've been using my M7 for about sixteen months now and I can honestly say, without any reservation, that this machine has surpassed every wish, hope or expectation I could have ever had! It is a true workhorse of a machine; strong motor, sturdy base that doesn't shimmy even at very high sewing speeds, yet it can handle the tiniest stitching detail with advanced precision. The AcuSpark app is like having the instruction manual always ready and at your fingertips! The HP foot, HP Acufeed Flex foot and plate system give me the most perfect scant 1/4" seam for quilting; EVER. There are a myriad of fabulous decorative stitches, including built-in alphabets, and fabulous features such as tapered stitches which make my machine applique stitches the most perfect to create award winning quilts! I absolutely adore the automatic needle plate system (no more broken finger nails!) and the bright, fully interactive LED screen. It allows me to customize every single stitch, easily save them as "favorites" and see the changes on the screen before the needle ever enters the fabric. The expansive throat space allows the bulk of my biggest quilts to pass through easily and evenly without any force or drag on the fabric. And the bright lighting is true lighting; no bluish tint or strain on the eyes. I honestly can't say enough about all the things I love about this machine except I don't believe there's a better machine available anyway. Janome has outdone themselves yet again.

I love sewing with this machine. The HP plate and foot are especially my favorite!

I got my M7 and I'm truly blown away by the features. It's a power horse of a machine with hundreds of decorative stitches built right in and ready to use. I've really enjoyed the features of being able to build decorative stitches up so I can customize any way I like. The space for 2 spools of thread has been very helpful as I don't have to de-thread my machine to refill the bobbin. I also love the thread cutter being built into the pressure foot. No more trimming tails every time I do a stitch! It's a wonderful machine and I highly recommend it.

Upgrading from a small machine to one this large was rather intimidating but I have found its super user friendly!! The stitching runs so smoothly and the LCD screen has an easy format thats simple to follow and allows up to SO MANY stitch styles. It comes with a ton of accessories and even a USB port so you can import your own settings/stitch styles into the machine. I have just started using mine but can already tell I will be getting a ton of work out of it!

I am so happy with my Janome M7! The machine stitches beautifully! I can make quilts from start to finish all on my home machine - the piecing, machine quilting, and machine binding!

If you are an avid sew-er, you will agree this machine is at a whole new level. As a Janome Artisan, I've been part of the Janome family since 2003. I started with a 6500. The 6600 was a huge leap qualitatively. With each generation the machines --which I think can't get any better--get better. The M7 is another giant jump: strong, fast, sturdy, workhorse, versatile! I've sewn bed quilts, art quilts, garments, home dec items, all with ease. If you love to sew, want a machine that will be at the top of the industry for years and years, then this is the one. And I'd say all these things if I had paid full price--the machine is that good. Besides the vast harp space (I quilted a 104" x 104" quilt with the walking foot with ease), the excellent lighting, I think my favorite thing is the wide array of included feet combined with the umpteen needle positions, meaning I can get things precise enough to suit even my own pickiness. I'm an odd combination of super picky versus broad-brush and imprecise. With the HP foot and plate, even *I* can piece perfect points. Can you tell how much I love this machine? As an exclusive Janome studio, Sew4Home is fortunate to be able to sew on a range of Janome models. This beauty is one everyone on our Seamstress Team fights over. The bed space is incredible - not just for quilting but for ANY large project. The precision and power is incredible whether we're just ambling along or going full out at 1300 spm! And so stable and quiet - even at those super fast speeds. S4H is known for bag construction, which can mean stitching through a LOT of layers. This machine glides through like butter. Yep... we love it!

I've had the M7 for almost a year now, and I'm beginning to wonder what I ever did without this machine. It has literally every feature I could ever ask for. I do a wide variety of sewing- from garments, to bags with lots of layers (leather, vinyl, etc.), and quilting--and the M7 never even has the slightest hiccup. It also has great lighting and I love how easy it is to change the needle plates and presser feet. You don't even need to fiddle with a screwdriver to swap out plates--you just press a button and it lifts all by itself.

I cannot say enough good things about this "dream" machine. I use my Continental M7 machine for several hours daily and this workhorse has no problem keeping up. One of my favorite features is the cleaning reminder. I have a tendency to work and work and work and this reminder is exactly what I need to stop and clean my machine regularly ensuring that every stitch is perfect. Not only does it have a bazillion amazing features, this machine makes light work of multiple layers of fabric with ease and the size means that I can sew and quilt large items so easily. We also have to talk about another favorite feature - the Acufeed walking foot! I use this foot every day and it truly is a game changer. It is the quietest, smoothest and most magical walking foot I have ever used. I still have so much to learn about this machine but as of now, it is the BEST machine I have ever worked on and I am in love!

I have been using the Continental M7 for over a year and have been SO happy with the performance. I am mainly a quilter but also make bags and clothes. It does an amazing job on every project. I absolutely adore free motion quilting on it. I recommend this machine to everyone!

I was looking for a machine with a large throat space and I got so much more with the M7! I’ll be able to get my quilts done without the struggle

I have several Janome machines and are very happy with them. Just got my M7 and its a dream come true! Already did a few projects and it works perfectly!

I have had the M7 for over a year now. Excellent machine. It feeds better than anything else—I mean anything else. Straight line quilting with no puckering. Sewing on binding is easy. Machine is quiet and powerful. Sewing while watching tv or listening to music is a breeze

I love this machine. I know can do more than I know. I quilt and do projects, do basic repairs on clothes.
