The best thing about the Horizon 15000 is that it is a Janome! It is quiet, but don't let its soft sound fool you...this machine is a sewing beast! There is NOTHING it can't handle, and I've put it through the ringer...from leather appliqué to mending tents. The embroidery is flawless, the quilting is superb, and normal sewing is a breeze. I try something new every day and it continues to surprise and delight me. Best machine EVER!

I have used the Janome 10001 for many years and recently upgraded to the 15000. I haven't used a lot of the features yet, but look forward to using all of them. It is such an easy machine to sew/quilt on. I have already gotten spoiled to many of the features the 10001 didn't have on it. I am so glad that I made this investment in the 15000.

I love the performance, features and options of this machine. I am learning new things that I can do with the machine all the time. Generally speaking it is a well made machine; but one irritating flaw. The needle threader just can't seem to work. I've had it in the shop and am getting ready to take it back in. After the last service (replaced that unit), it worked once. Speaking with another (she had her's in 3 times). The MC 15000 minus the needle threader is a great machine!

Let me begin by saying I have been a Janome user since the 8000. The progression to the 15000 included the 9000, 10000, 11000 and 11000SE. I also went from Scan N Sew to Customizer, Digitizer and presently have the MBX5. To me the 15000 with wifi capabilities was a no brainier. My sewing skills vary from clothing, quilting, crafting, home deco and embroidery. The 15000 meets all those needs. It is a workhorse and a joy to sew with. I LOVE the way the machine sews - quiet, uniform, good tension control, etc. I LOVE the decorative stitches and the programming capabilities. I LOVE the HorizonLink software and the ease of use to get the design to the machine. HOWEVER - The needle threader is useless. I have had it in for adjustment twice, and it does not work consistently. This is extremely frustrating to me, as when I spend this kind of money for a tool, I expect it to work. I should have listened to the gentleman that sold me the machine. He actually told me that if a needle threader is high on your list of must-haves, buy a different machine.

I really love my 15000, I'm a tech junkie so this really works for me. The biggest problem I am having is the needle threader. It does not work. I have had it taken in several times and had the threader unit replaced twice. We get it to work at the shop, I get it home it doesn't work. It's sort of on again off again, mostly off. With this machine being top of the line, and the investment involved all parts should work.

I graduated from the MC9900 and woo hoo, am I happy! I especially appreciate the thread cut action when moving location on a embroidery design. It amazing the way the end of the thread is "sucked up"! I feel like I've joined a higher league. This machine makes me want to learn all kinds of sewing skills!

I have had this machine for about four years, now. I love the way it sews and all the features. I am learning something new all the time. However, in the past year, I have had it in the shop several times for the same problem. I am getting loops every 2-3 inches on the underside of my fabric. The faster the sewing speed, the more frequent the loops. In fact it’s in the shop now.

I love Janome’s. I’ve always had a top of the line machine and also have a small Janome Jem Platinum 760 for class. I occasionally have issues with the needle threader but my husband has mastered fixing that. Sometimes the thread comes out of the takeup lever as well but even with these nuisances, I wouldn’t trade my Janome in for any other machine and I’ve tried all of the top brands. It’s just easy to use and logical to figure out. I love the advanced features as well. Thanks Janome for a wonderful machine.

Started with the 11000, and now have the 15000 as well. I am extremely happy with this machine. I have yet to find anything it cannot do! I continue to take classes and made my first quilt. I enjoy the fact that it is so versatile and can be used in so many different ways, sewing, embroidery, applique, and on and on. I enjoy making gifts for family and friends and enjoy creating my own designs as well as purchased patterns, etc. Wonderful machine.

It's two months now since bringing home my machine; best upgrade ever. I've sewn several small wall quilts and a couple of tops. My new machine sewed effortlessly from one technique to the next. I even embroidered a few labels for my wall quilts completely created in the embroidery edit mode. The final labels came out so beautifully. Now I'm off to the blog for more inspiration for my next project .

So glad I purchased the MC15000. I love this machine. It sews all weight fabrics with ease and I love all the feet available to use with the walking foot. Embroidery is beautiful as well as all the decorative stitches. The magnifying lenses are most helpful for aging eyes and the additional lighting feature is so useful. I do all my machine quilting on this machine and find switching from one function to another is done with such ease. Now if they would just improve the threader, this machine would be perfect. JAC

I like the machine but I have had too many problems with the automatic threader. The automatic threader is not what you would expect for the price of this machine. I have had it for over a year and have had it upgraded.

Love my 15000. Thank you for the upgrade to Quiltmaker. I love being able to do ruler work. The only problem I have is sometimes hitting the screen in error when reaching to the right of my machine. Wish there was some sort of cover over the screen to keep me from trying to change the stitch when I am sewing. Even with that I love my machine and would not trade it for any other!!

I have had my HMC 15000 for a little over two years now. I absolutely love it. The stitch quality is beyond compare. I use it for quilting, embroidery and general sewing. There are only two things that I would change if I could. First, the needle threader is occasionally temperamental. That is one of the main reasons I purchased the machine and it has been, at times, disappointing. The biggest knock I have is that it does not have a large hoop like the Babylock and Brother. Unfortunately, many of the embroidery design packages I purchase have designs that I cannot use because even the largest Janome hoop is unable to accomodate the design. I am really hoping that Janome will introduce a larger hoop sometime in the near future. I was disappointed that it was not done at the latest upgrade, when the "quilting machine" was introduced.

I also love the Ipad, it will let me know while I'm in another room if the thread has broken or the machine is not running. My husband just can't believe this feature. He shakes his head every time. I just laugh. I would purchase again if mine failed. :o)

I love my Memory Craft 15000! It is so amazing to quilt with and has so many different functions. I am now able to use both embroidery and quilting to make beautiful quilt projects. I love creating new projects that I can now add my own spin on with all the amazing options. I have only ever sewn on small home machines, so this is my dream come true. I learn more and more every time I sew with this machine and can't wait to find out more. It is very powerful and has lots of technology integrating the ability to quilt and embroider and with the big screen, I am so amazed at what I can now create and so thankful to be able to sew on this amazing machine. I've had Janome machines for more than 20+ years and the one thing I LOVE about them, including the 15 is the ease of operation. Janome continues to make advances to allow the user nearly error free stitching. The quality of the stitching (sewing or embroidery) (for me) has been wonderful and if I have a problem (with the machine), my dealer is able to "fix" everything. Love my Janomes (and I have several, LOL).

I love my HMC 15000, the last upgrade to include ruler quilting was just what was needed to make it a perfect machine, I can sew garments, embroider beautiful designs, and use the Horizon Link software to create quilting that looks like it was done on a long arm, I love that I can combine free motion, patchwork, ruler work and embroidery to my quilts to make them original in design. This is an amazing machine, I highly recommend it.

There is no sewing machine like my HMC15000! It is smooth, quiet, accurate, easy, and sews the most beautiful embroidery and quilting patterns! Fabulous support and great technique from the website. This machine makes me look like a professional no matter what project I try. I am in LOVE with this machine (just don’t tell my hubby!)! PLUS it has software for my iPad! I can cook dinner and watch my machine on the iPad, so I know when to change threads. I can pull up a design, make changes anywhere, and stitch the design out when I get home! The HMC 15000 cannot be out performed by ANY machine on the market today.

My 15000 was just updated with a new needle threader and other software updates. The needle threader works extremely well, you just have to learn the “quirks” of the machine. I am excited to try ruler work and thread work on my 15000 V2... thank you Janome....

I love my MC15000 and all the wonderful things it can do. The Ipad is the topping on the cake! While I don't use it for monitoring my embroidering I do use it for the designs and with the latest upgrades, can't wait to try my hand at making designs for my machine! Am taking my MC15000 to the dealer this week for the upgrades to 3.0 and hoping that will fix the issues with the threader (very tempermental). If there were anything else I could have, it would be an even larger hoop. But love the way it sews, love that I can embroider with it, love all the feet that come with it, love the extension table for my quilting-I love my MC15000!

I bought my machine 2 years ago - I couldn't be happier. Quilting, free motion quilting, embroidery - this machine is a dream! I've used the iPad apps to edit & change embroidery design easily. The threader was problematic initially, but once it was replaced I've had zero issues. The assessories that came with the machine are fantastic. What I like is I'm still learning new things with it. This was a purchase well worth it!

Love it. I researched this sewing machine for over a year. I Only wish I had training on it as I have had to teach myself via the you tube videos and your online updates. With Janome keeping these current for everyone it is a lifesaver. OH - by the way. This was my 2nd sewing machine my first one was a Janome 8200 from Hancocks ... as I learned to quilt then jumped straight into the 15000! I taught myself the embrod. portions as well as the quilting, stippling, etc. Keep up the project updates and the software updates since I review these monthly for any changes! Thank you Janome.

I had the Janome MC11000SE which was a nice machine, but the Quilt Maker Memory Craft 15000 is so much more. The new features are fantastic. The screen is bigger and so much easier to follow. I love all the built in stitches and embroidery designs. I can make bigger designs with the 5 included hoops. I can still use all my downloaded designs on my USB. It is also Wi-Fi. I love the LED lights and its cool how the line color changes as you work and finish your design pattern. So far everything is wonderful with it. I love it.

My 15000 is my piece of Heaven on Earth! It's not just a sewing/embroidery machine it's a therapy allowing me to create! create! create!. This machine has So many features that allow ones creative side to soar! From making simple projects to super involved projects. I use all kinds of fabrics of various thicknesses and my 15000 runs over all of them like a champ. Even oil cloth, I load my dual feed feature on and away I go. The embroidery is beautiful! I recently added the upgrade which added so many more features. Between Janome and my dealer I have had nothing but a positive experience with my 15000.

I love my Janome HMC 15000. From the first project it has produced beautiful embroidered items. Transition to sewing is easy as the machine is so user friendly. It is a great machine for a beginner to the experienced sew and crafter. I recommend it highly. A 5 star machine!

I have owned my Janome 15000 for about two years and recently received its upgrade. I absolutely love this machine and all its features (which I have still not used them all). I am a quilter and mostly bought this machine for that purpose. But I have been pleasantly surprised that I am enjoying the embroidery component as well. I owned the 9900 before and didn't think the straight stitches could be any better, but the 15000 even does the basics better than ever.

I started out with the 10000 , went to 11000, than the 12000 and endet up with the 15000. This was the best decision I made. This machine sews like a charm and all the features on this machine are amazing. I also love the embroideries Everyone of my embroideries came out so beautiful. I have been a Janome owner since 1996 and this new Janome 15,000Quiltmaker has been the most awesome I have ever owned. Previously I have the high end 11,000SE and my12,000 which I will admit I cried when I decided that it was time for the newest and I thought to myself now what could they improve with the new Quiltmaker well needles to say I learned very quickly that it was a true upgrade to what I had in the 12,000. My very favorite new option is the new straight stitch plate and foot. The feed is fantastic and the machine sews through layers like butter. Thank you Janome you have done it again. Awesome machine.

Annabelle, my MC15000, is suburb. She has several other sisters in my sewing room, all with the last name of Janome. But back to Annabelle. She softly hums along through each quilt or sewing project my brain thinks up with never a hiccup. The only problem she ever had was her needle threader, but that was solved with the Quiltmaker upgrade. I love my Annabelle, and she has never failed me. She comes from a long line of quality ancestors!!!

I have the Janome 9,000, 10,000, Compulock, Coverstitch, Felting Machine and in September I purchased the Janome 15,000 Quilt Maker. I don't even look at any other machine when I am ready for a purchase. I love their machines because they are always top on innovation. All of my machines still run perfectly. I can't get rid of any of them because I love them all. My repairs have been only once since 2009 and that one was under warranty. They are built with quality parts. In my book, Janome is the very best!!! Thank you Janome for taking such good care of us sewers!!

My machine sews well. It is not finiky nor is it delicate - it is a workhorse. It understands what automatic tension is - I use 12/30 wt threads with no problems. I have had her for over 4 years now and am still as happy as the first day I brought her home. A smile automatically comes to may face when I sit at my machine and marvel at what we are about to create.

The 15000 machine is about the best I have ever owned; it does whatever I want it to do-- ( except scrub the floors).... seriously whether I am sewing, free motion quilting, or doing embroidery the machine always meets my expectations and does a great job. I love all the features, all the stitches, the selection of feet and accessories, as well as the software in Horizon Suite. Quilting with the acufil is so nice for the program does designs that I could never do on my own free motion. With the varied selection of feet as well as the different applications, I have not found anything yet that I cannot do with this machine.

My first Janome was the 12000 but when a delightful Janome Educator came to our local shop to introduce the 15000, I moved up. The 12000 was great but the 15000 is beyond words. I was thrilled that Janome let us upgrade to the Quiltmaker version 3. I quilt, sew garments, embroider and make gifts with ease on the 15000. I do own a Skyline 7 as a second machine which is pretty sweet. I sew clothes and toys for two young grandchildren. I have been making my own jeans this past fall, 4 pairs and planning for more. The new HP foot makes stitching the flat-felt seams a breeze. I love embroidering designs on my jeans and t-shirts. I embroider my quilt labels. The Accufeed system is wonderful for Walking Foot Quilting and piecing too! I have made several of the projects from this site which have turned out terrific. Most importantly the 15000 is a joy to use.

I love my 15000....it is truly my dream machine. It has its little quirks, two to be exact, but I still love it. My needle threader gave me fits but that's been corrected and my takedown lever looses the thread occasionally but otherwise it's wonderful. Embroidery is perfect nearly every design I do, stitches are regular with no skipping. It has its own memory so I can stop and the next day continue with my same stitch without a problem. I am so so glad I have this machine!

I cannot say enough good things about my Janome 15000, especially after the update to the Quilt Maker version. It is easy to use, accommodates any changes I want to make to a stitch or stitch pattern and the embroidery always comes out clean and professional. i love showing all that it can do to those in my sewing groups. 2 of them actually did buy one after seeing mine in action and some of the finished projects. Just love it!

The Janome HMC 15000 is an amazing machine. I absolutely love it! I also have the 11000, and a 100-stitch computerized Kenmore that was made by Janome which I purchased in 1994. All work perfectly and sew like a dream. I use the 15000 almost daily. I have made so many wonderful things on it since I got it two (2) years ago...garments, quilts, embroidery, in-the-hoop projects, quilting in-the-hoop, crib sheets, baby blankets, toys, and more. My Janome machines do everything I ask of them and more, and so wonderfully.

The latest upgrade to the Quiltmaker was free. Free motion heaven, unless I want to embroider a quilt pattern with the ASQ hoop that uses magnets to hold the quilt sandwich in place That's an amazing gift from Janome. I already loved the Acufeed flex system for even sewing but now I also have the HP foot and plate for very accurate sewing (along with the Acuguide cloth guide). The light is excellent, the needle threader a treat, but the magnifier is what sold me!

Also the new add-on package with the new upgrade - I have no idea how to use the HP plate or feet. There was no explanation in the box. Do I have to have my dealer show me and explain what this does?

I have always loved embroidering and did it by hand for many years. With my MC15000 I have been able to take my embroidery to a new level and mix it with my love for sewing because with new techniques I'm learning I can create things in the hoop. But the beauty of the MC15000 is that it is also a sewing machine and with a few simple adjustments, I can go from embroidering to sewing for those projects that aren't completely in the hoop. I felt intimidated at first because it is such a high tech machine, but I got some free lessons at the dealer and the manual. Between those two sources, I have found the answers to any questions I've had since buying this great machine!

90% of my sewing is embroidery. The 15000 has produced elegant results. The embroidery is often better than that done commercially. It is easy to change from normal sewing to embroidery. Very happy with this machine.

I am an experienced sewist who makes quilts, embroidery and general sewing. I am so happy that I made this purchase from our local dealer at a show he had in September. I have had top of the line machines from Brother and Pfaff so I can easily compare. Janome has thought of everything! Yes, there is a camera in my Brother, and to be honest, I use it often. I also embroider very large patterns on it. And the Pfaff did have beautiful stitching and a built in IDT. But the Janome seems to have taken much of this into account. Since it is relatively new I am still working my way through the instruction book. I took several classes from the dealer also, and I purchased the foot book which I also go through. All the exercises have been terrific so far, and I am really very impressed with the instruction and documentation. The website and blog are also very helpful. And you need not sign up for an expensive ongoing lesson plan (unlike the competitor's) to get the most from your machine. Janome seems very committed to making sure that users have all the information at hand, and are also very responsive to customer inquiries. I love this machine so much that a few months later I purchased a Skyline S7 to take to classes, since the MK15000 is a little on the heavy side to bring downstairs too often. So far there is nothing I have not been able to sew. And I am still learning....

I upgraded to the 15000 from the 9000. I loved the 9000 and this one is even better. The only thing I have had issues with is the needle threader. I upgraded the machine this week to Quilt Maker and can't wait to see what it can do now,

I have owned my 15000 for several years. I LOVE this machine. From piecing to quilting edge to edge this baby never fails! The stitching is beautiful every time! And it's so adventurous, it's always ready for whatever I come up with!

My name is Norma Schatz Coleman and I purchased a Janome 15000 from the large Janome Display Dealer at the Houston International Quilt Show in Nov.2017.I wanted to up date my present embroidery machine (ELNA 900) to the best embroidery machine on the market. The price was too good to not buy it at the show because I did not think I would get the price from a dealer in the Dallas area. The only problem I found out later from a couple of Dallas dealers was that any problems that occur that is not covered by the Janome warranty will have to be paid out of my pocket because our dealer is in Houston. Two weeks ago the Janome 15000 locked up with the embroidery needle stuck into the bobbin case. I had to take it to Thomas Sewing Center to get repaired. One week later and at a cost of $169.00 I got back my wonderful embroidery 15000. It is now working perfect. For a machine listing at $13,000.00 there should be no problems. I also have a Janome 3160QDC and a Janome 2222. I just love JANOME MACHINES. from ngcole@verizon.net

I love my Janome 15000. I've had it for a year now, and have really enjoyed it! I have had the 8000, and still have the 9000 and the 11000 upgraded to SE. I love all my Janome machines. Even the 9000 still sews like a dream! The 15000 is the best ever!!

I have had my Janome MC15000 for 9 months. I've named her Pretty Penny! :) I am so in love with this machine. I have so much to learn about her. I have paid for the updates. Now I'm just waiting for the parts to arrive.

I have been sewing on this machine all weekend and used a lot of the many features and presser feet. I love everything about this machine except the automatic threader which works occasionally no rhythm or reason! I am still having issues with it after the upgrade in which thecthreader was switched out. I am still learning all the features and using the manual to increase my knowledge. I have owned other “brands” and find the Janome is the easiest to learn. Now I only own Janome plus a featherweight. For me Janomes are the only way to sew!

I paid for the Quiltmaker upgrade. The needle threader had worked flawlessly for a year when I got the upgrade. The first upgraded threader did not work even once for me. I had it fixed again and it worked well for a few weeks. Now it does not thread the needle again.

I've had Janome machines since 2003. Love their stitching, embroidery, sturdy machines. The only problem, and it is a consistent one, that I have with the 15000 is the threader. Most of the time it doesn't work.

I'm not sure what I love the most. The amazing threader for my old eyes, the clothsetter guide or how easy the entire accufeed system works. I used to deal with a walking foot. It drove me crazy, but not anymore. Excellent machine with an accurate 1/4 seam with that fabulous HP foot. Precision to say the least! Janome impressive!

I adore my 15000, and I’ve had her for 6 years now. She occasionally give me issues with the threader (like nearly everyone) but if she has any errors, they are most likely mine. Best machine ever.

The MC 15000 is, hands down, the best sewing/embroidery combo machine money can buy! It does it ALL. It stitches beautifully and has so many decorative stitches, you could never run out of options for creating beautiful quilts, garments or home dec items. The HP foot and plate system is incredible. This creates the most perfect, scant 1/4" seam of any sewing machine on the market today! And the embroidery module is easy to use and so precise. My embroideries come out perfectly every single time. I also find the user interface to be easy to understand and use -- even for a beginner! This machine does it ALL.

I can't say enough good things about this machine. The amount of feet and accessories it comes with is insane. I love the auto lift feature on the foot. I make a lot of bags and it can handle the thickness with no issues. Sews perfect zippers and the embroidery unit is so easy to use. I hadn't embroidered before owning this machine but find it so user friendly and easy to figure out. LOVE THIS MACHINE!

This is my DREAM MACHINE! I love everything about it. But there are some distinct features that stand out to me. I love the retractable light; the automatic needle threader is the best. And if not have the built on light was magical, there is also the optical magnifier! This machine is everything. If you're ready to step up your sewing life, this is the machine for you.
