You can receive designs from the MC10000 to your computer to use in combination with other designs in the Customizer 10000 programs.
You can receive designs from the MC10000 to your computer to use in combination with other designs in the Customizer 10000 programs. The designs that you've saved to the Embroidery Built-in memory, PC-Link Built-in memory, PC_Link File folder or Emb_File folder on an ATA PC Card (that is inserted into the MC10000) can be received via USB or RS232C using the Receive Designs command. In addition, you can also receive designs from a PC Design Card inserted into the Memory Craft 10000.
PC-Link Built-In Memory
Click on MemoryCraft on the Menu toolbar.
Click on the 3rd entry in the drop-down menu, Receive Designs...
The Receive Designs dialog box will come up on the screen. You will see the names of the designs in the memory you select.
The default settings in the Receive Designs dialog box are for the PC-Link Built-in memory. (Note that the "Select Open/Save folder" box is left unchecked, and the "Built-in" radio button is selected.)
Through this box, you have the ability to receive one, many, or all designs.
To receive all designs, click on the Select All Designs button.
A check mark will be placed next to each design name.
The Customizer 10000 program that you are using must know where to put the design in your computer that it is receiving whether from a Built-in memory or ATA PC Card. You specify the location by clicking on the Browse button on the Receive Design dialog box and clicking on the location you choose.
Click on the Receive button. All designs that have a check mark next to its name will be transmitted and written to the folder you specify.
If you choose to receive only one design, or only one at a time, click on the Auto Preview box to see the design you are planning to receive. Then, click a check mark on the design. The preview screen will show you the design.
When you are ready to receive the design, click the Receive button. The design will be copied from the PC-Link Built-in memory and written to the location you specified.
If you choose to receive several designs, but not all designs, click a check mark next to the design names you want to receive.
When you click the Receive button, those designs will be copied from the PC-Link Built-in memory.
Embroidery Built-In Memory
Simply by clicking on the Select Open/ Save folder box, you will receive back a list of design names that are in the Embroidery Built-in memory.
Then, by clicking either the design name check box, or by clicking Select All Designs, you can receive designs from the Embroidery Built-in memory.
Note: The built-in embroidery designs cannot be received from the MC10000 via PC-Link.
ATA PC Card PC_Link Folder
To receive designs from the ATA PC Card PC_Link folder, insert the ATA PC Card into the Memory Craft 10000. Click the radio button to point to the ATA PC Card. (Remember, when the Select Open/Save folder is not checked, the memory will default to the PC_Link.)
Then, by clicking either the design name check box, or by clicking Select All Designs, you can receive designs from the PC_Link folder of the ATA PC Card.
ATA PC Card Emb_File Folder
To receive designs from the ATA PC Card Emb_File folder, insert the ATA PC Card into the Memory Craft 10000. Click the radio button to point to the ATA PC Card. Also, click on the Select Open/Save folder to point to the Emb_File folder.
Then, by clicking either the design name check box, or by clicking Select All Designs, you can receive designs from the Emb_File folder of the ATA PC Card.
Memory Craft 10000 PC Design Cards
To receive designs from a Memory Craft 10000 PC Design Card, insert a PC Design Card into the Memory Craft 10000 and click the radio button to point to the PC Design card.
Then, by clicking either the design name check box, or by clicking Select All Designs, you can receive designs from the PC Design card to the folder you specify.
