Select Machine Model
The first step to communicate with the Memory Craft 10001 or the Memory Craft 10000 V3.0 is to tell Digitizer 10000 which machine you use. To do that,
Click MemoryCraft on the Menu toolbar.
Click MC 10001 or MC 10000 Ver 3.0 in the Select Machine Models dialog box.
Send a Design
If you want to send the design that is on the design screen to the Memory Craft, use the Send a Design function. The Memory Craft 10001 must be on and in PC Link Mode. The USB or RS232C cable must be connected to the Memory Craft and the computer.
The Send a Design function can be accessed two different ways. You can click Memory Craft, Send a Design...
OR
Click the Send to Machine icon.
Either way will bring up the Send a Design dialog box.
There are four Built-In Memory Folders. The first one is named Designs, and this is where the Built-In Embroidery designs reside. You cannot access designs in this folder through software. The other three folders are named EmbF2, EmbF3, and EmbF4, but you have the option to change the name of the folder if you choose. In the example above, EmbF4 was renamed QUILTDES to hold embroidery quilt designs in one easy-to-find place.
EmbF2 is the default folder to send designs. It is open, showing that it will be the one to receive a design unless we point to another folder.
None of the folders for the ATA PC card are showing because there is no ATA PC Card in the machine.
Click the Close button on the Send Design window.
Insert your ATA PC Card into the sewing machine.
Click the Sewing Machine icon again.
Now we see the twelve folders on the ATA PC Card in addition to the four built-in folders. Each folder is capable of holding approximately one hundred designs, so you have the ability to send about 1500 designs to the folder system!
If you choose one of the three built-in folders, you will send your design over the cable and write the design to the built-in folder in the sewing machine.
If you choose one of the twelve folders on the ATA PC Card, you will send your design over the cable and write the design to the ATA PC card in your sewing machine.
Click the Send button to send a design to the default built-in folder EmbF2. The Send Designs dialog box will appear over the Send a Design dialog box.
Click Start to send the design.
Once the design is sent, a picture of the design will appear on the PC-Link screen. This picture is only meant to be an indication that the design has been sent.
