The following lesson is designed as a guideline for future reference when embroidering on most high-nap fabrics. Some of the guidelines may change depending upon the degree of nap, thread type, stabilizer, design size/density and size of the finished project.
Materials Needed:
- 8” x 8” square of Terri cloth fabric
- 8” x 8” square of medium weight tear-away stabilizer

- Make a “sandwich” with the tear-way stabilizer on the back of the fabric and the water-soluble stabilizer on top.
- Place “sandwich” in the hoop. (Refer to the instruction manual for proper hooping.)
- Attach the embroidery hoop to the machine by turning the knob so it is parallel with the hoop. Insert the key into the carriage and turn the knob clockwise.
