A new feature in Version 1.2 allows removing the hoop from the design screen.
A quick and easy way to accomplish this is to right click the design screen. A pop-up menu will appear.
Click Display Hoop.
The hoop will be removed from the screen.
If you wish to see the hoop again, right click the design screen to bring up the pop-up menu. Click Display Hoop.
You can also control the hoop display through the Work Environment dialog box. There are two ways to access the Work Environment dialog box.
Right click on the design screen to bring up the pop-up menu. Click Work Environment.
Or
Click Setup, Work Environment on the Menu Toolbar.
Either way will bring up the Work Environment dialog box.
A Display Hoop check box has been added to the Hoop section. A check mark in the box indicates the hoop will be displayed.
Screen Colors
The design screen colors are controlled through the Work Environment dialog box.
The colors that are currently assigned are shown under Background Colors. In the graphic above, buff is assigned within the hoop and gray is assigned outside the hoop.
When the hoop is removed from the display screen, the color of the screen will be gray, the color assigned outside the hoop.
If you wish to change the colors, left click a color box to change the color insidethe hoop. Right click a color box to change the color outside the hoop.
Note: See Lesson 59 Change Background Colors to learn how to create custom colors for your design screen.
