What Is Color Sensitivity?

To enable a finer tone separation, you can adjust sensitivity in the graphic.

What you'll learn
To enable a finer tone separation, you can adjust sensitivity in the graphic. The finer the tone separation, the better the resulting line drawing.
We will be using the Chrysanthemum graphic from the Clipart folder to demonstrate color sensitivity.

Adjust the Sensitivity of a Graphic

  1. Click Import Clipart (.wmf). Select the Chrysanthemum file.
    Image
  2. Click Preview Outline.
  3. The Chrysanthemum does not have outlines separating the colors in the flower, so EasyImport must distinguish each color from its neighboring color to create a line between them.
  4. Click on Low color sensitivity. Notice that lines are not created in the lower portion of the flower.
    Image
  5. Click on Medium sensitivity. Notice lines are more filled in.
    Image
  6. Click on High sensitivity. All lines are filled in, and the outlines are crisper.
    Image
  7. Click OK. The graphic will be processed so you can use it to assign stitches.
