Customizer 10000 EasyImport can access .sew files. Click on the down arrow next to the "Open" icon on the Standard Toolbar. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on the fourth entry, "Sew File (.sew)."
The "Open Sew File" box will appear in the center of the design screen. The only type of file that can be accessed is .sew.
Note that if the Preview box is checked, the selected file may be previewed in the preview window.
Having the ability to preview a design is a very good thing, because it allows us to see if a .sew design will fit in the standard hoop. Designs in .sew have an off center starting point, where the new .jef designs have a center starting point. When Customizer 10000 opens a .sew design, it aligns the starting point to the center. Many .sew designs will be placed too close to the hoop on the right side.
Even though you may have selected the Standard Hoop when you set up your new design screen, you have the ability to override that selection from the "Open Sew File" window. Simply click on the radio button for the Large hoop. Notice how the design will fit comfort- ably in the Large hoop. The center of the design is still aligned with the center of the hoop, but there is more room for the design.
Click on the "Open" button to bring the design into your design screen.
