Learn the easy way to make continuous bias binding.
Quilts with curved edges and scallops or home décor sewing projects with rounded corners require a lot of ease in the binding, which is accomplished by using bias strips to create the binding. But sewing enough bias strips together to finish an entire quilt can be a real chore. Follow this neat trick for creating Continuous Bias Binding on your sewing machine. Simply stitch a few pieces together, make some cuts, and presto! You have a full length bias binding strip! This is just one of the Quilting Techniques in our Learning Center.
Our friends at Sew4Home also have some good tips on making and attaching bias binding.
