The Presser Foot Pressure Dial controls how much pressure the presser foot applies to the fabric. When switching between lightweight and thick fabrics, you may need to adjust the pressure for even feeding. The adjustment location varies by sewing machine model, possibly found on the left top, inside the top cover, or in an on-screen menu.
