My sister lent me her embroidery sewing machine so I am still learning. I need to buy thread & she has been using the Janome 200m #50. Does anyone know where to buy this in Ontario? I can't find it on line and Fabricland does not carry it. She has said that the poly is the best if anyone has any suggestions I will be happy to listen. Thanks

My mother would like to sell her Janome 11000. She bought it earlier this year or end of last year and it was only used for the demo when she bought it. She is interested in selling it. I can email picture and all the details. I can even connect you directly with her as I do not know anything about it and she can give you all the details and dates etc. I did see that it has the 2.0 upgrade? I am worried that any return emails will go to spam folder so please also email my work email at brian.whitley@affordablecare.com

Thanks and email any questions. Machine location is NC so if anyone knows of anywhere in NC that may be interested in am open to ideas. Shipping can be arranged.

Hello, this is my very first forum post. Hope I am doin this correctly.
I am trying to find out where to get the size 18 HLx5 needle for my 1600P.
The size is shown as an option in the Thread & Needle Chart in the
instruction book. I have checked on the Janome site and it only shows up to a size 16 available to purchase. I have checked at my dealer and they only have up to size 16.

Thank you for any help you can send my way,

stitchingran

Generic Zipper Foot & Snap Tape

I'm trying to sew snap tape on fabric, but my presser feet (I've tried then all!) are getting snagged on the snaps down the center of the twill tape.

Can anyone tell me the secret to sewing snap tape? What foot is narrow enough on the left side to allow me to bypass the snaps?

I've tried to find snap tape wider than the standard size 5/8"--that would solve the problem, but no luck so far. If the tape was wider, my presser foot would be able to run along side the snap and sew.

I've also purchased and tried to use a generic narrow, pointed zipper foot on my Janome 6260QC, but the needle hits the foot on the down stroke. Does anyone know of a traditional-looking zipper foot that fits the Janome 6260QC model machine?

I've written to Dritz asking them how to sew the snap tape, but they said it would take about 2 weeks for a reply. I've also posed these question in Patternreview and Threads Gatherings forums. Everyone interested in this topic is hoping for a solution to my dilemma.

Many thanks for any advice you can offer.
