I guess I can't fully understand the turning feature on the 11000 SE when using the applique stitches. Can anyone point me to a video or online demo of how this is done. Does it apply to both blanket type stitches and satin stitches. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

We just recently bought the Janome AQS2009. It has a manual of course, but strangely, nothing is said about lubricating this machine.

What gives? Surely, it is not expected to run for life with no added lubrication!

I can't find a way to connect with the manufacturer to ask this question, so I thought I'd try the forums.

Can anyone help?

I have a MC6500. I use it frequently for quilting and occasionally for garment construction. I have never been able to adequately set tension with any stitch to use for stretch knits; it always grows. The only thing that has ever worked is using a very long stitch with lots of thread at the ends and then using the extra thread to pull and smooth out stitch, but then I lose the stretch in the fabric. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Okay, I've tryed for several hours over 3 days trying to get this bobbin holder back into the machine properly. I've read my instruction manual and looked at the pictures, read every forum article and suggestion I could find on this topic, and I still can't make it work. I just got my machine back from servicing, maybe sewn a total of 10 minutes on it - seemed to work okay that time. Was in middle of a in-the-hoop project when I wanted to change the bobbin thread color and when I put the new bobbin in all I keep getting is knots and loops wrapping around the bobbin holder and locking up the machine. I've taken the throat plate off, cleaned the entire area, but to no avail. Anyone have any other suggestions. This nightmare chews up all my sewing time and I can't ever seem to get any sewing done because I'm fiddleing with the silly bobbin holder all the time. I have a MC 10001 machine and mostly just use it for embroidery. I have to get my grandson's Halloween shirt and projects done and mailed to him before it's Christmas. Frustration is at a max! All ideas welcome. THank you.

DOes anyone know how to create the "hand quilted look" stitch on the 6600? I have asked many places (quilt shows, even the shop where I purchased the machine), but I keep getting vague answers about "adjusting the tension" and using invisible thread on top and colored thread (or decorative) in the bobbin - however, I have not been able to figure this out and have never seen it done. Thanks!

How do you embroider a name vertically on a wide hair ribbon so the letters in the name go from top to bottom?

When I choose one font and download it, that one goes away when I select the next letter in the name. Then you have to alighn each letter. I am totally new at this. I have the Janome 11000, and am totally in the dark.

I would like to know how to do this for built in fonts and form fonts you are using from your computer or jump drive. Any tips for doing this are tremendously appreciated.
