Left serger needle coming unthreaded
Has anyone had issues with your left needle constantly coming unthreaded? I just purchased a janome new home 3434D. What troubleshooting should I know?

The needle shouldn't come unthreaded. Make sure you have at least 4" of thread past the needle to the back. You do know that the needles get threaded LAST, yes the loopers are first and usually the upper looper, then the lower looper as it is over the upper thread in the sewing process - at least on my Janome sergers it does. I've had a few in my years of sewing and they all threaded -
    Upper first
    Lower second
    needles last

    Hope this helps.

Mine is doing the same thing after about 4 months of use. I cannot get the left needle to stay threaded. For some reason its started making a very long stitch when that's not what my machine is set to, then about 5 inches into, it will come loose.
