Janome America, Inc. distributes Janome sewing machines, sergers and accessories through a network of authorized Janome dealers.  As a distributor, we do not sell directly to the general public via mail order or the Internet.

How do I obtain service on my machine?

During the first year of ownership, warranty service will be provided by the authorized Janome dealer from whom you purchased your machine.

If you did not purchase your machine from an authorized Janome dealer, please contact Janome America through the General Inquiries Form for further information about warranty service.  If a field does not apply to you, such as “software version” or “software” put NA in the field.

After the first year of ownership, please contact any authorized Janome dealer for service.

Who can help me decide which machine to purchase?

Where are Janome sergers, sewing and embroidery machines manufactured?

For consumers looking to date an antique New Home sewing machine that was made in Orange, MA or Rockford IL, please click here.  We are sorry, but no other New Home or Janome sewing machines can be dated.

The only information we can provide is a date of manufacture if you have the following information:

  • model number or style number
  • serial number
  • place of manufacture.

All of this information should be on or under the needle plate area.
