Make an Embroidered Pocket Pillow
"I love all of the built-in designs on the Janome Horizon Memory Craft 15000 and I need a way to show them off. This pillow with a pocket for inserting designs works!
I like to recycle old clothes, especially those made of linen and silk. For this project, I repurposed a white linen skirt and a sheer silk chiffon overlay from another skirt. I then used the linen to make the pillow case and then the silk chiffon to make a see-through pillow pocket. The pocket insert is created on the MC15000 using one of my favorite built-in designs. Then, using the free download, I added a digitized square around it, turned it right side out and then there was a pocket insert!
