I have started doing a lot of machine quilting and was looking for a way to use the rulers which are made for the long arm quilting machines. Janome has the perfect foot for this technique. It is the "Free Motion Frame Quilting Feet Set" Part #767434005. This foot is for use with the Janome 1600P and it does need to be attached to a Convertible free motion foot for this machine, which is a separate Part #767433004. The foot on the left is the foot I use with the quilting rulers. It is a fatter foot so the rulers will set right up against it. Instead of marking the quilting design on the fabric, you can use the ruler and guide the fabric around the design. I was so excited to be able to use these rulers to help me with my free motion quilting. There are many different rulers with all types of pattern combinations available. This foot makes it so easy to get that professional quilted look.
