  • Modern Maven Presents Warrior Princess Tiger Lily

    12/9/2016

    Made with the AMH M100

Tara Gray of Modern Maven is full of inspiring ideas all deriving from her love of nature. Living in Hawaii, Tara enjoys using a brighter color palette and lighter weight fabrics in her projects. When we asked her to test out the new Anna Maria Horner M100 sewing machine, she was so excited!

Once Tara and her daughter saw the new Pan movie, she couldn’t wait to make a Warrior Princess Tiger Lily costume for Halloween. Right away, Tara couldn’t wait to use Anna Maria Horner’s fabrics as they are the perfect fit for this costume. Tara’s daughter Channing loved it!

Tara mentions in her review that the AMH M100 was easy to figure out and use. She loved the beautiful stitching options available for a hand embroidered look. Channing loved how her costume turned out and it was a great Halloween.

  • The Perfect Oversized Pillow

    12/7/2016

    Made with the Skyline S9

“There is nothing like the first snowfall of the season, hot chocolate and our all time favorite holiday movie Elf to help us jump start the celebrations! Elizabeth Hartman’s Frances Firefly pattern is a joy to work with and lent itself to the oversized reading pillow my young, voracious reader requested months ago. Any project that helps to encourage and foster a love of reading is okay in my book no matter the season. The pillow is also the perfect size for road trips and it is beginner friendly.” Janome Artisan Maday Delgado of Free Spirit Designs by Maday

Maday used the Skyline S9 to make this cheerful project. Click here to learn how to make it.
