I love my Janome so much I can hardly stop telling people about it. My life truly changed after buying it and a new career in the sewing world was launched- the ease of sewing with such a fine tool allowed my creativity to become fully realized and I honed my skills as a designer and sewist and even published a book called Improv Sewing to share my ideas. Every deadline is met because my machine ALWAYS works so...sticky situations avoided!

From the Janome 9000 to the Janome12000 to my Janome serger, these work horse machines have served me very well with confidence and great ease for whatever project I attempt. My kids and grand kids, and family members, think I can make "anything" with my machines. They are not far from telling the truth. My Janomes are out and always ready for use, because I never know when I or someone will need that last minute project, ( they always do ) and I have the confidence that my Janome machines are up for the tasks. From mending the "impossible" when it's their favorite pair of jeans, to helping them to do 4-H sewing projects, making themselves their own quilts, embroidering a design at last minute for a gift or just letting them be creative. And with the ease of sewing with my Janome 12000, I have them "spoiled" to sewing with a great machine. I hope I have passed on the desire for them to love sewing, and Janome machines as much as I do.

Last week I purchased a Memory Craft 6600P and I cannot believe how much it has improved my sewing results. I had no idea my old machine was holding me back. The AcuFeed foot works beautifully in making sure the layers of fabric stay together and the seams line-up neatly. The machine is a dream to learn and use - wish I had made this purchase sooner.

The maiden voyage for my 7700 was a challenging tote bag project. I chose to laminate my chosen fabric with HeatnBond vinyl. This bag used 92 pieces of stabilizers, vin yl, fabric, zipper, etc! The 7700, with the AcuFeed foot (which goes over laminates beautifully, I may add!) went from 5 layers over a bump with another 16 layers with no problem! In the heaviest spot of the bottom seams, there was vinyl covering side, bottom, and piping pieces, loads of stabilizer and ... oh yeah.. the fabric itself - a whopping **30** layers of fabric! This was done with the zipper foot to guide that super-thick seam along the piping. Janome to the rescue... it's made sewing a joyful experience - even when it was thrown a very challenging project! Pictures of the project can be found here: http://sewing.patternreview.com/SewingDiscussions/topic/71494 PS... I love having the right footsie for the job!

My Janome DC 1050 made the task of making replacement drapes for my 1996 Airstream a reality. Now I have beautiful suede thermabacked drapes that block out light and noise. Quite an improvement to my home on wheels. Thank you Janome!

I had a project that required gathering 90 inches of fabric. I selected the gathering pre-set on my MC12000, set the cloth guide to the seam allowance I needed, and had the lines sewn in no time. The fabric just glided on the thread, giving me beautiful gathers!

My Janome 5700 sewed through many thick bulky layers of camo fabric, batting, and insulating fabric to sew my son a custom jumbo sized lunch bag for work. He works 12 hour days so he requested an insulated bag large enough to hold several meals which might include whole chickens! My Janome handled it with ease.

Money was really tight for my niece. She saved up to pay for decorations for a friends wedding shower but ended up needing the money for a major car repair. We were able to put together some inexpensive decorations with my Janome 350e. Every bride should have her day! Janome really came to the rescue!
