701-janome-at-the-tokyo-hobby-showWith nearly 2.5 million square feet of space, the Tokyo International Exhibition Center has earned the popular nickname Tokyo Big Sight.

At the end of April it was a big sight indeed when over 600 hobby-related exhibitors from around the world gathered to display their newest and best in dozens of categories. You could see everything from the latest in doll collecting to painting to knitting, and lots of sewing and craft.

Of course Janome was there with the latest machines.

The MC8900 QCP and MC8200 QC quilting machines.

The Memory Craft 9900 sewing and embroidery machine

And of course our flagship Horizon Memory Craft 12000 sewing, quilting and embroidery machine.

We also had many Special Edition versions of our current machines. These were popular too.

Just like in the US, Japanese sewists like to make fun accessories and small quilts with bright, fun fabric.
