Sewn With Love: Lisa Graves' "WordSakes" Baby Quilt Uses Janome Digitizing Software

Lisa Graves, who does custom embroidery in Keswick, Ontario, Canada, was planning on making this quilt for a friend's baby. But after she found inspiration for the design from her unborn son, she kept it for him.

The "Wordsakes Baby Quilt" was created using Janome Digitizer software and the Memory Craft 11000 Special Edition. And it's a beautiful example of sewing with love.

267-swl-wordsakes-baby-quilt-by-lisa-graves-detailLisa says, "This project started out as a gift for a friend, but I was pregnant at the time with my second son “Hunter” and just had to keep it since he was really the inspiration behind it. It was made for him."

She says that she used Janome software to digitize and stitched it all out on the MC11000.

"I love the 8" x 8" hoop. I specifically designed this quilt for use on the Janome 11000."

The "Wordsakes Baby Quilt" has a finished size of 30" x 40".
