I would like to see a machine that threads itself, for real. Including the needle. My old machine was a Singer XL5000. That was one of the best features of that machine. Really looking forward to seeing Janome's new machine September 3rd.

I would love to see a more vivid brighter and bigger screen, a larger and taller sewing and quilting space, accufeed, luggage and the built in camera that other sewing machines have, who says you can't have it all?

All of the above. I think that the moveable screen on the 11000 was the best. I would also like accu-feed for quilting, a longer bed for the above and more light at the needle and along the bed. I would love a magnetic hoop, automatic thread cutter and pivot.

I have been waiting patiently for the new machine to come out. I am soooo ready. I also hope it's WIRELESS,: outside winding bobbin, easier stitch adjustments, and of course auto thread cutter. My ultimate would be to be able to sew and embroider at the same time.(I can dream)

Wireless would be great! Built in battery back-up so you don't lose any designs or work. Longer bed sounds good. More instructions for new users. More monogram options. Faster embroidery speed. Fuller fill. Larger screens for those that have any trouble seeing sounds great. Moveable screens sounds good too! Good introductory discounts and guaranteed financing. One can dream can't they?

I agree with everyone above as those are the fetures I would want. Also larger hoops for embroidery. Janome is a fantastic machine and I have bought them for 20 years now. Always upgrading both machine and programs such as digitizer pro

I would like to have the page icon to advance to the next page instead of the forward arrows. This would help so one didn't have to scroll through all 20 plus pages to find the one you want

Wireless for transferring designs. Longer bed. Larger hoops. Design positioning assistance built in rather than the clothsetter. Self threading...automatically. Automatic jump stitch cutting. Accufeed. Switchable stitch plate like the horizon. Stitch Regulator on board for stippling and FMQ. Mouse capable.

I would like the continuous hoop feature as well as a stitch regulator for free motion quilting. The camera placement for accuracy on placing thus eliminating the use of the templates and cloth setter. Acufeed like the 7700 would be nice.

Forgot to mention, I have 4 Janome machines and I love everyone of them, except the Horizon. The 6600 is a favorite and the MC11000 is a winner. 720 is great for classes.

I would like faster scrolling between screens. Don't know if I said that right. The designs take to long to load. Oher machines do it instantly.
Automatic threader

True Sashiko stitches and a stitch regulator for free motion. I have the Horizon and 350E, (and a 6260QC) so these two items would give me a "Cadillac" world. :)

Everything I already have with my Horizon-- just add a pivot feature to make applique easier and a stitch regulater. Those two features could cause me to upgrade if the price is right.

I would like to have a stitch regulator, low bobbin sensor, lots of different meandering/stipple patterns. I would also like a sashiko stitch and have the ability to type in stitch number....it takes too long to use the dial to scroll as stated above.

I really hope that there are muliple spool holders and that the holders can accomodate larger spools(small cones) of thread. Also easier rethreading when changing colors for embroidery.

I would love to see a wider bed for quilting, More light, larger hoop for quilting along with more quilting designs. I have the MC1100 know and love it. It is so versitle. I can't wait to see the new machine coming in Sept. Keep up the good work Janome. Your the best.

Hope to see quicker recognition of the USB stick and loading of designs. More thread manufacturers to choose from. Hoop size recognition and an endless hoop. Larger acuquilt hoop. Better auto needle threader. Ability to adjust position of decorative stitches. Automatic cutting of the thread when starting embroidery and with each color change. Ability to use a mouse for editing designs. Ability to have more lettering options - not just monograms. Easier stitch plate switching (between straight and zig-zag) without having to remove screws. Revised Clothsetter table for the longer bed. Do away with the elevator (movable) screen and make it larger. I will more than likely keep my MC11000 as it is the perfect size for going to classes. Love the built in embroidery arm - hope that does not change.

I have been an exclusive Janome purchaser for decades. Love your machines (7) still have all of them. I would like to see a stitch regulator, low bobbin alarm, endless hoop, magnetic hoop, still have accufeed,a shashiko stitch, needle threader that puts the thread through the needle. Software that auto sizes designs and reduces and increases the stitches accordingly, still have auto thread cutter and separate motor for winding bobbins and did I say a stitch regulator (#1 on my list) and reasonable price. Moon and Stars, I know,....but you asked. Can't wait to see it!

Love the MC1100SE, but would like to see larger magnetic hoops for embroidery and quilting blocks; larger bed and more quilt stitches; wireless that could accommodateboth PC and MAC computers; larger bobbins that could fill while sewing; and mostimportant ... a STITCH REGULATOR for free motion quilting. That would be my dream machine!

WOW! Had not thought of some of the ideas above, but they all sound great. I would like to see an automatic lift presser foot - when you press on the foot pedal or take your foot off, the presser foot lifts. Lighter weight would be nice, getting older makes it hard to carry such a heavy machine from place to place! LOL I would like to see the new machine be compatible with the MC1100SE accessories....feet, hoops, etc - gets very costly to replace everything with every upgrade. Look forward to seeing the new machine!

Let's have larger hoops for embroidery & quilting, continuous hoops for embroidery & quilting, a larger bed size for quilting and a large stippling size. Love my MC11KSE. Kept my MC5K for the memory card designs.

I'd also like at least a 9mm stitch width. the decorative stitches are much prettier and there are more decorative options when you can go wider.

There are a lot of good suggestions, but the most important thing for me is that Janome keeps the XY embroidery arm and doesn't go to a detachable embroidery unit.

I would like a feature that moves the hoop out of the way to get to the bobbin case! That would make it so much easier when the bobbin runs out in the middle of embroidering! And endless or border hoop would be wonderful as well. Mostly I'd like to see Janome not leave the MC11K in the dust as it has with other upgrades to the line.

An arrow to tract where your embroidery is would be nice as well as auto pressure foot lift - also some machines are capable of accepting all types of designs (not only JEF) stitch regulator would be great. larger hoops to do larger designs - camera centering for embroidery. lots to ask but Janome is the best so should be the best of the best.

For the Embroidery machine 9 I have the 350E), I would like larger hoops, a faster USB port, more memory. For my 6500, more light, larger bed, low bobbin indicator, better free motion foot (I bought the kit that comes with the 7700 but for the low shank model) .

I'm hoping for dual feed, stitch regulator, large space between needle & machine, pivot, auto threading, good lighting, large hoops, bobbin warning and/or stop when out of thread, larger bobbin, able to convert embroidery from other formats, wide built in stitches say 9mm, endless embroidery hoop for long pieces of fabric --- I suppose the best features of the other top brands. My 1st machine that was my own was a New Home given to me by my father in 1958.

I just bought my first Janome and I have already decided I wanted an upgrade. Everything that the sewers have mentioned, I had decided that is what I wanted. I am a beginner but I love to embroidery. I need much bigger hoops and better designs, more built-in fonts. I want more of everything for a reasonable price 8).
