Sewn With Love: Spring Yo-Yo Pillow By Jessica Kovach
A bright, cheery project just in time for Spring.
Jessica Kovach of West Olive, Michigan tells us that a while back she'd made a bunch of fabric yo-yos. She was just waiting for the right project and the right occasion to use them.
The project was a colorful throw pillow. And the occasion was the blooming daffodils in the yard outside her window.

Jessica tells us, "I just finished up a fun spring pillow yesterday and thought I'd share it. I made some yo-yo's a while ago and I remember thinking about and hoping for spring! I tacked them down on the pillow cover using the decorative star stitch and then I used that same stitch to create a border around the pillow top."
She says that the pillow is a fun and bright addition to her bedroom and it really reminds her of the blooming daffodils in my yard.
And she adds, "I love my Janome machine and mostly sew quilts and home decor items."
Jessica blogs with her twin sister Jennifer at Twin Fibers where they love to sew, quilt, design and play with vintage crafts.
